Whether you’re a type designer or you use fonts in your design work, I can help you navigate the complexities of the type industry.
It’s me: Doug Wilson. I have over 20 years experience in design, advertising, and typography. I’ve helped creatives at Nike, Netflix, Sony, EA Games, Rapha, and Hearst choose the right type for the right audience.
As a type consultant, I’ve worked with a dozen independent type foundries as well as Monotype, Linotype, and Adobe. I bring an outside perspective from actual users of type and a deep understanding of the ever-changing industry.
Working with agencies, I help vet font licensing strategies and have worked with developers & engineers to build, test, and launch successful websites and digital products.
